"God's righteous foundation will not be destroyed, because the universe is a universe that is controlled. It is held in the hand by an awesome God who sits on his throne right now!"

Parker Rabe continues our mini-series in the Psalms. This week, we're focusing on Psalm 11 which shows us King David's response to the world of apparent chaos around him; a world that feels similar to ours today.

"What would your marriage look like; what would your relationship with your siblings look like; what your relationship with co-workers look like; if just one person, if just you ordered your ladder this way? If just you thought of your wife as more important than you; Or if just one sibling thought 'I'm just here to serve my family'; Or just one co-worker decided 'Hey, everyone around me is more important than me'? What would that do to a marriage, what would that do to a relationship, what would that do to a family?"

Parker Rabe makes up his sermon we missed from a snow day on February 9th by taking us through 1 Peter 1:22-2:3, and the many powerful things we can find in that section of God's Word.

2020-03-15 Chosen to Be Set Apart – 1 Peter 3:8-22 – Parker Rabe
"Maybe our best response shouldn't be 'Oh, just get over it.' 'Oh, it's not a big deal.' 'Oh, it's just like the flu.' But maybe Christ is commanding us to be sympathetic, and to feel with people, and to enter in to have a conversation, and to bring wisdom, to bring a tempered response, but not just to tell people to just get over it. Maybe that's not the best and only response we should have."

Bethany's Director of College Ministry, Parker Rabe, continues in our series going through 1 Peter with a timely message about how God commands us to treat each other.

    2019-12-15 Expectancy – Parker Rabe
    Series: Expectancy
"In this season, we need to call out to Christ. We need to be like Israel as they are in Egypt, not as they are in Israel. We need to recognize 'Man, I have problems in my life, and I need Jesus today. I don't need a morning; I don't need time with family; I don't need things; I don't need everything else my culture wants to sell me; I need Jesus Today.'"

Bethany's Director of College Ministry Parker Rabe preaches on what we should be expecting this Christmas season, and how God and his people have been expecting it since the beginning.
